Project Engineer (Transmission)
Location: Tampa, FL.
This salaried design professional will serve as a departmental resource for design, project management, scheduling and coordination associated with transmission engineering projects.
Minimum qualifications: Minimum qualifications: Graduation from an ABET accredited engineering school with a Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible design, engineering and construction-related design experience with emphasis on transmission engineering and power delivery systems. P.E. required. Must have experience with PLS-CADD.
Senior CAD Operator
Location: Tampa, FL
This hourly technical professional will serve as a departmental resource for CAD drafting. The Sr. CAD Operator works closely with clients, internal customers and design professionals, as required to produce project-related drawings and documents. Current platform is AutoCAD 2008 and Civil 3D.
Minimum qualifications: High school diploma required. Post-secondary and/or technical school education is highly desirable. Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible drafting and/or construction-related CAD experience with emphasis on structural and/or civil discipline. Survey and land development drawing experience preferred.
Associate Engineer
Location: Tampa, FL
This salaried engineer will serve as a departmental resource for transmission line design, structural steel and reinforced concrete analysis, drainage and foundation design. The Associate Engineer will report to the senior engineering staff in order to receive guidance in the development and training in the field of engineering as it relates to the power, telecommunications and surveying work performed by PowerComm.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited engineering school, and an EIT, or ability to obtain same. Design, drafting, survey or construction-related experience, particularly transmission line, telecommunications and/or foundation design experience is a plus.
