The History of PowerComm PowerComm was created to provide quality engineering services associated with cell tower sites and high voltage power lines. The company was based on relationships developed over years in the utility industry and a strong will to succeed. Since its inception, PowerComm has completed hundreds of projects throughout the southeast, and several across the country. PowerComm Engineering has become synonymous with high quality projects that meet or exceed client expectations.

At the end of 2001, with a staff, PowerComm rented 3,000 square feet of office space in Tampa’s Westshore Business District. In 2003, we established a presence in Atlanta, Georgia. Subsequently, in 2004, we established an office in Raleigh, North Carolina and began performing electrical consulting studies for clients across the country, diversifying our business even further. Also in 2004, we purchased property in the Westshore Business District in anticipation of building our own facility in which to house the business. In 2005 we were actively involved with the construction and development of our new building, and in December of that same year we moved into our new home at 5025 W. Grace Street. To support our continued growth, we purchased office space in Raleigh and purchased the adjacent property in Tampa in 2007. We moved into our new offices in Raleigh in early 2008 and construction will begin on a new two-story office building in Tampa in 2009.
